The Holiness Messenger

Missionaries within the Holiness Movement

Update August 2004

Bro. Leon Farley was saved in February of 1956 at the free Holiness Church in Kellyville, OK. In the fall of 1956 he began his first pastorate at Highway Mission Church, near Welty, OK. Bro. Farley has pastored or evangelized since that time. He served on the Bristow Holiness Camp Board for 32 years, and also served on the Sapulpa Holiness Camp board for several years.

In 1965 he began working with Bro. Roy Smith and Harvest Time Missions in Mexico. Bro. Leon established the FEED THE LAMBS  program in 1989, to help the poor and to further the Holiness message in Mexico. Along with assisting the poor there is an emphasis on the youth in Mexico. The program builds churches as well as supports churches with food and other necessities. Our efforts couple with those of Dios es Amor, which is duly registered with the Mexican government, and protects small churches. We have a shelter for the homeless and have provided several busses and vans for the churches and pastors, going as far into the interior as Oacaxa.

Each year several churches send goods and workers to Renoysa, where Christmas sacks are prepared and distributed to the children in local churches. Many times we are able to give gifts to 2,000 excited children. Please pray for this work.

Bro. Farley currently pastors the Apostolic Faith Church in Sallisaw, OK, and continues to work in Mexico.
