Greetings in the name of Jesus. We hope this letter finds all of you well as we continue "looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ". (Titus 2:13)

January was a very busy with preparations fo rthe much anticipated 50th anniversary celebration for the founder of HFGM, Sis Gail Myers. The celebration and convention in Rynosa were a great success with hundreds of Mexicans and a good representation of Americans from many different states.

Also the administrator of the Panama and Cuna works, Bro. Frankie, attended. Much honor was bestowed on Sis. Gail and her ministry throughout the convention. A special service in her honor was held Thursday night, January 29th, which was the only service she was able to attend. We had all hoped she would feel like going to more of the services, but she was not physically strong enough. We wish everyone could have witnessed the outpouring of love given by the Mexicans and the Americans with many gifts and testimonials. One of the highlights was a plaque presented by Bro Rick Binkley, pastor of her home church in Hodgenville, KY, where she received the call for missions over 50 years ago. In the typical Mexican celebratory fashion with Sis Gail as the star celebrity, there were three beautifully done fresh flower arrangements, many plaques, and a cake you would have to see to believe. A represtative of the mayor of Reynosa gave a speech welcoming the convention to the city. The preaching was great. Most all of the interpreting was done by Bro Jeremy Brooks. He also preached in Spanish to the young people one afternoon. Response to the alter services was phenomenal with the people praying for over an hour. Hearts were touched and souls saved. Sis Gail was blessed and grateful for everything that was done. Please continue to pray for her as she adjusts to her new surroundings. She would want to send her love and rayers to her supporters. When the American board met with the Mexican board in December to discuss Sis Gail's failing condition, we assured the Mexican board that the work would continue even though Sis Gail could not physically do what she had in the past for them. They were reassured by the overwhelming support of the American ministers who preached in the convention. This support will be reinforced this year by a different American minister holding a revival each month in one of the 12 sections in Mexico. The Mexican church is strong and marching on.
At the time of this writing, Bro Brad Ruiz, Bro Neil and Sis Joann Bridges of Georgia are visition the Cuna works with Bro Frankie in Panama. Pray for them that they will have good success. Bro Dan Roberts of Missouri, Bro Tommy Toliver and his grandson, Bro John Roberts of Oklahoma, just returned from preaching and teaching in the annual youth camp in San Carlos, Panama. Many souls were saved and some young men testified to being delivered from drugs and demonic spirits. Bro Frankie did the interpreting into Spanish. Some of the older Cuna women who can't read or speak much Spanish asked for the message to be interpreted into Cuna. So Bro Tommy preached the message twice and Bro Frankie interpreted to Spanish and then Cuna. Most of us do well to speak one language while Bro Frankie speaks three! Please pray for Bro Frankie and Sis Aminita as they have a lot responsibility and work to do. Continue to pray for Sis Toti and her husband, Bro Luis, in Colombia. At the end of January, Sis Toti was next on the list to receive a kidney transplant. The works are doing well in Colombia. Bro Frankie plans to visit these churches as time and resources permit.

HFGM would like to welcme ouor new supporters that have included this work in their monthly missionary budgets: churches, individuals and even other missionary families. May God bless you for your giving to this work. We sincerely hope we can earn your confidence and trust in administering these precious resources in the places where the will fall out to the furtherance of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We also extend our gratitude to those who have faithfully supported through the years. The Mexicans, Panamanians, Cunas and Colombians are grateful for your continued support. Please pray for us that we would have wisdom and clarity of purpose during this time of transition. A special thanks to everyone who sent boxes of clothes, shoes and items for family packs and baby packs for the Christmas season. Also, many boxes were brought in January to be taken over during the convention. One pastor needed a pair of shoes, and we had a brand new pair of dress shoes just his size. Isn't God so good!!

In His Service,

Bro Don Rich, Bro Neil Bridges, Bro John David Long, Bro Ben Shaw, Bro Darrell Toliver and Bro Gary Edenfield
