FAITH MISSON began in 1992 after Wilburn and Gene Thompson visited Ukraine. They were invited to Ukraine in October, 1991, just one and a half months after the fall of the communist rule.
On their first visit they were introduced to the leader of the former "underground" church. They began to visit the cell groups in different village and cities. The door opened for them to began a mission work, which included humanitarian help, and FAITH MISSION was formed.
The mission work has covered all of Ukraine, and has reached into the far east of Russia, to the Promorski Krai area, and even into the vast region of Siberia. Today we are building new churches, starting Youth Camps, and spreading Bibles, literature, and evangelism into remote area of Ukraine. Through the mission we are reaching many that have never heard the message of salvation through Jesus Christ, and many that have never even held a bible.
